1. How Freight Is Calculated
Freight charges are based on whichever is greater:

2. What Is Dimensional Weight?
Dimensional weight is the amount of space a package occupies in relation to its actual weight; it helps account for large packages. Here is the standard formula used:
Dimensional Weight = (Length × Width × Height in inches) ÷ 166
If your package’s dimensional weight exceeds its actual weight, that is what will be used to calculate freight cost.
3. Repackaging to Save You Money
At our Miami Hub, we may repackage items to help reduce freight costs and minimize damage—especially when suppliers use oversized boxes. Our goal is always to ship smarter, not heavier.
4. When Repackaging Happens
Repackaging decisions are made by our team when necessary. Items are placed in poly mailers and charged by actual weight—provided they are under 47” and not subject to dimensional weight. While this process is not customer-directed, it’s designed to benefit you.

If your package qualifies for dimensional weight pricing, your local eZone agent will contact you to confirm your preferred shipping option:

Pay & Ship Air | Proceed with air freight at the dimensional rate. |
Pay & Ship Ocean | Choose ocean freight—slower delivery, different rates. |
Return to Vendor | Decline the charge and return the item (supplier return label required). |
Pick-up / US Delivery | Collect from our Miami Hub or arrange US delivery via a third-party (additional fees apply). |
